Heian Seiju Toda PDF

Inspired by performance art and minimalism to find absolute if enigmatic beauty, Seiju Toda created a series of 33 compositions called “Heian,” a term meaning both peace and serenity. In a meticulous process that took several years to accomplish, the architecturally trained Toda created sublimely beautiful wooden fixtures—abstracted shelves, frames, cabinets, and geometric forms—from unstablehinokicedar and then juxtaposed them with live fish, birds, and other animals. The resulting compositions, superbly photographed, evoke a reality that is symbolic and otherworldly, highly manufactured yet suffused with nature. ‘’ Heian: Seiju Toda Kompozisyonları’’ Performans sanatı ve minimalizimden etkilenerek oluşturulan huzur ve dinginlik anlamına gelen Heian isimli şifreli güzellik serisi, mimari eğitim almış Toda’nın muhteşem üretim tekniklerini doğayla birleştirerek ortaya koyduğu raf,çerçeve, dolap ve geometrik şekil çalışmalarından oluşuyor. Bu kitapta bu seride bulunan kompozisyonlara dair mükemmel fotoğrafları inceleme fırsatı bulabileceksiniz.
